Pixelated F-Stops: The Badlands

On Saturday Tim and I packed up at dawn and headed out leaving Lillers at home. Our destination? The Badlands, we spent the morning driving through the park and checking things out since we hadn't been here in a few years. I got to play with my camera some more and Tim got to stop at Wall Drug. Lilly even benefited from our little excursion with a new bear to gnaw on. All and all we were home by 1pm and got to spend the rest of the day running errands and puttering around the house...hmmm, maybe we should have drug the morning out longer!

These are the Yellow Mounds...for pretty obvious reasons. This is my favorite spot in the park because the colors of the mounds are so incredibly brilliant.

I think the geological variegations of the Badlands are amazing.
