Giving Thanks

A hint of things to come.

Today I am giving thanks for:

- the wonderful gift that is my husband. I couldn't have been blessed with a better man.

- the love and caring of my amazing family and friends. Each and every person in my life has enriched in ways that can never be measured.

- for the amazing freedoms and democratic process of this country. Even when I don't agree with the government, it is still an amazing example of a free system of government.

- for the men and women that have dedicated themselves to defending this country in peace and at war; at home and abroad. Also, for their families and friends that love them, support them and allow them to do thier jobs, knowing what the costs may be.

- for the safety and stability of our lives in the past year.

- for the amazing beauty and grace of the state that we live in. I have been in love with with plains, river country and Hills of this state for a long time and it is truly wonderful that I have been given the opportunities to stay in the state I love.

- for the excitement and happiness that our dog Lilly has brought to our lives.
