Pixelated F-Stops: Red International
First off, boy did we get the snow! I'd guess I scooped about 3" or 4" off the sidewalks this morning, either way it's our first true wintry sort of day. Poor Lilly, while enjoying the mess making potential of snow, she does not enjoy it getting mashed into her fur. Apparently little legs encased in snow is not the way to spend your morning since she spent the better part of fifteen minutes chewing it off...well until I felt sorry for her, then we blow dried it out. Yeah, I'm a softie.
But since it was still dark and I couldn't get any pictures of our christmasy little neighborhood, I'm putting up some pictures I took a few weeks ago at a job site. Well a future job site, right now it's the neighborhood dump off point for the Sturgis trailer village. Anyway, in amongst the bed frames, mattress coils, collapsed buildings and other assorted garbage piles was an abandoned FarmAll Tractor. Poor baby, just left there to die. Now I realize tractors aren't exactly pretty...well to most people, but this girl disagrees. Especially that day, the old red work horse was sitting in the rain, abandoned until some either takes it to a true scrap heap or falls in love with it and takes it home. And I fell in love with it...and wished I could take it home. But alas I couldn't so here he is...
As you can see it's still in fairly good shape, no extensive rust damage or breaks in the chassis.
I remember sitting in my Grandpa Baker's old International seat just like this one...well it wasn't ever full of rain. But they are surprisingly comfortable...not a chaise lounger or anything but not as painful as one might think.
