Pixelated F-Stops: The New Yard

It's been a while since I've had the camera out for the sake of just photographing something (anything really). With the new house have come a host of new plants and such to be my new victims.
We have pink roses. A LOT of pink roses, like bright fuchsia roses. Three bushes worth...I won't say I hate them...but um, I'm not a big pink person. There maybe some developments in regards to the pink roses.

I have no idea what these are, but they absolutely COVER the bushes they are on. And their scent? It is heavenly, so rich and heavy, it just fills the air around them. Plus they aren't pink so they have that going for them too.

The 2nd pic could be some sort of peony, maybe. Actually, come to think of it, if you're not positive that the first one is a rose, it may also be a peony. Or a ranunculus.

Nope the first one is definately a rose. The second isn't a peony, but is a flowering shrub of some sort. It is currenly an unweildly 6.5 feet tall.
