Letters from Lilly: Holiday-pallooza

I have been so busy. Sometimes it's hard to be the only dog, I think I need a buddy to help out with all the stuff I have to do. Maybe a nice Lab, I hear they are exceptionally dumb and will do anything you ask without so much as a belly rub. Hmmmm...a dumb minion might be just what I need.

Anyway, The People have been doing lots of weird things. Over the last few months They have been taking all of the bright shiny things out of the ceiling and putting in different bright shiny things. I tell you, that is a lot of supervision for one dog to handle...and the clean-up? Sheesh, I thought I'd help by licking all the white and pink bits off the carpet but The Girl decided to use the loud sucking thing instead. (She always does stuff the hard way.) Besides all the stuff with the ceilings I've had to make sure The People don't hurt themselves when they replaced the bathroom fan, repainted the bathroom cabinet, put out the Christmas Lights, put up the Christmas tree and "winterized the yard". It's a lot for a small dog.

With all the time outside and the cold, cold wind in the new yard The People decided to FINALLY get me a coat. I guess a teeny-tiny helpless schnauzer cowering in the corner near the fence is what it takes to break their hearts of stone enough to make them spend some money on me. So anyway I've got a stylin' new parka complete with a pocket for a treat. It's awesome and I look hot. Seriously, I do. See...

Anyway I should go, it's that time of year when The Girl makes all the sweet yummy bits. She always takes most of them out of the house, but I still get plenty of "test" nibbles. I should see if she's got anything going in the kitchen, she's such a messy cook and I get to be on clean up duty. Take Care, ~Lilly
